A total of Spectra SM 128 print head jets comprised of two electrically independent piezoelectric slices each containing 64 addressable channels make up the Spectra SM 128. Configured in a single line, the nozzles are separated by a distance of 0.020”. At the top of Spectra SM 128 jetting assembly sits the fluid interface and electrical connection, which offers a variety of flexible mounting options. Such an arrangement allows for particularly tight packing in the print process direction. Fast changeovers are facilitated by flushing from the dual-ported fluid interface, which allows drying fluids to be displaced by inert fluids in times of inactivity.
